
Alissa Howard is a dynamic marketing, creative, and operations leader whose work has shaped some of San Antonio’s most visible and beloved brands. As Senior Manager of Marketing Operations & Innovation, Alissa leads enterprise-level strategy that integrates marketing, sales, service, and digital functions, creating scalable systems that directly support business growth, customer deepening, and long-term organizational success. Known for her ability to simplify complexity, she develops innovative frameworks, pilots new tools and processes, and mentors teams in creative problem-solving, all while achieving measurable, outcome-driven results.
Before stepping into operations and innovation leadership, Alissa built her reputation at Whataburger, where she led social experience and creative teams responsible for national brand storytelling, real-time cultural engagement, and multi-channel content strategies. Her cross-functional leadership helped elevate the brand during a period of rapid expansion and increased cultural relevance. Earlier in her career, she more than doubled year-over-year proposal-driven sales at Davis Vision and built foundational social and creative programs across several San Antonio organizations.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Alissa is deeply committed to the San Antonio community. She serves on the Trinity University Alumni Association Board, including leadership roles in engagement-focused committees. She contributes to the city’s cultural landscape as a board & executive committee member for both the Contemporary at Blue Star and the Main Plaza Conservancy. A graduate of Trinity’s Alumni Leadership Academy and a five-time GDUSA design award winner, she uses her talents to support mentorship, education, and the arts.
